Student Learning Survey

Teachers and school employees have to speak out for their students. Often, you are their only voice. In this week’s survey we are asking teachers and school employees to tell us about their student’s learning environment. Are your students getting the individualized attention they deserve? Are the standardized tests helping them succeed? Do they have access to safe buildings and the latest technology?

We want to hear from you! You are with your students in school everyday. You know what they need. Help us explain to policy makers what they're missing about student learning. Your responses on this survey will inform our legislative agenda, policy positions, and political endorsements. Responses are anonymous.

This is survey #6 in LFT’s Six Weeks Six Surveys Campaign. Each week for the last six weeks, we have sent you a survey focused on a particular topic that is important to Louisiana’s teachers and school employees. For our final week, we are focused on your Students' Learning Environment. The survey should take less than 10-minutes to complete and your responses are anonymous.

These six surveys are part of our efforts to prepare for the 2023 Legislative Session. The session begins today (Monday, April 10th) and ends on Thursday, June 8th. During these nine weeks, legislators will make decisions and pass laws that impact you, your students and our communities. It is important that the experiences of teachers, school employees and students be centered in these discussions. Your responses on these surveys will ensure that the voices of educators are part of these discussions at the Capitol.
